Our Focus “Excellence in Service”

Strict guidelines are followed to ensure that only the finest personnel are selected to provide services for our clients. All personnel must pass a comprehensive Local, State, & Federal criminal backround investigation prior to appointment. Our personnel are selected from the fields of Law- Enforcement, Military, Mental Health, and Emergency Medical Services. All staff have a strong commitment to providing the appropiate level of compassionate care to every person transported.

Our Team


All of our personnel are carefully selected and undergo a comprehensive criminal background investigation conducted by the Oregon State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation prior to any offer of employment. In-house investigators conduct an additional background investigation in order to ensure that only the finest individuals are selected to provide this highly specialized service to our clients. All personnel are required to attend an approved educational course in defensive driving, First Aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with automated external defibrillator (AED) certification as a condition of employment. A number of our personnel are certified at Emergency Medical Responder/First Responder level as well. There are a number of training opportunities and requirements that our staff attend which provide the highest level of training in our industry and allow for the safest and most appropriate transport to be conducted at all times.

*** Training

Secure Transport Officers are trained in: De-escalation Techniques, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, First Aid, CPR w/AED, Unarmed Defensive Tactics, Management of Aggressive and Combative Behaviors, Tactical Communications, Defensive Driving, Appropriate Use of Force, Emergency Procedures, OC Pepper Spray, Secure Transportation Procedures, Tactical Handcuffing, Escort Procedures, ASP Baton, Taser EMD, Empty Hand Defense.

Annual training consisting of a minimum of eight hours is conducted in order to maintain a high level of proficiency and meet or exceed the standards set by State guidelines for Secure Transportation Providers.

 

*** Vehicles

Specially equipped transport vehicles offer a safe and secure environment for the safety of the person transported and the transport personnel which prevent the elopement of an individual while in transit.

Vehicles are equipped with First Aid and CPR equipment. In the event an emergency situation arises, transport personnel are prepared and capable of handling minor medical emergencies or calling for Emergency Medical Services to provide further care.
